Joseph Wong

Joseph Wong is a composer and musicologist based in Hong Kong. His music has been performed in Hong Kong, Israel, South Korea and the United Kingdom. As a researcher, Wong’s interests include contemporary composition techniques, music theory and analysis, music and visual media, and Chinese music culture. His research papers have been presented at various international conferences in the United Kingdom, Norway, Turkey, Taiwan and Hong Kong. His research papers were published by Spring Nature, Intellect Books, and the Council for Asian Musicology. As an experienced educator, Wong has been teaching music courses at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Open University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Composers’ Guild, and the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong.
