Bella Brover-Lubovsky is Professor of Musicology at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. She is the author of Tonal Space in the Music of Antonio Vivaldi (Indiana University Press, 2008), of the edition Nachal’noe upravlenie Olega. Music for the Play by Catherine the Great (A-R Editions, 2018), and of numerous articles on music and writings on music in eighteenth-century Italy, published in international scholarly journals and volumes. She has been a recipient of the Thurnau Prize for Music Theater Research; research grants from the Einstein Stiftung Berlin, Israel Science Foundation, the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America (Columbia University), the Vittore Branca Center for the Study of Italy (Fondazione Cini), the Newberry Library (Chicago), and Vigevani and Orzen postdoctoral fellowships (Hebrew University).
